Flowserve is looking for a technician whose main task will be to overhaul mechanical equipment in the service workshop. Occasional intervention will be required on customer sites.
Responsibilities:

Respect the group's safety rules.
-
Dismantle equipment to be appraised after dismantling.
-
Draw up list of defective parts to be ordered by technical leader or QRC supervisor.

Dismantled pump put away.
-
After customer order and receipt of necessary PDRs, sandblasting and machining of retained parts, preparation for reassembly and finally reassembly according to instructions.

Air-tightness tests.
-
If necessary, lining of pump units.
-
Preparation for painting.
-
Painting in cabin.
-
Palletize and move to shipping area.

Responsible for tidying up and keeping the workshop clean, as well as 1st level equipment maintenance.

Intervention on "Customer" sites for commissioning or troubleshooting.
Requirements :

Reading and interpretation of technical drawings and sketches relating to area of expertise.

Knowledge of mechanics and materials.

Ideally knowledge of pump failure modes.

Work in Microsoft Office.

Teamwork.
-
Resistance to stress.

Reliability.
-
Ability to express oneself, alert, communicate.

Adaptability to customer needs and ability to establish a relationship of trust with customers.

Ability to advise customers.

Knowledge of machining.
