Your next challenge
The Digital Workplace Engineer plays a critical role in driving innovation, operational efficiency, and end-user satisfaction across the organization’s workplace environment. This position requires a leader with the technical expertise, strategic vision, and executional capability to deliver world-class digital workplace solutions. The role is vital in ensuring seamless collaboration, productivity enhancement, and the highest security standards for our multi-regional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation & Continuous Improvement : Spearhead the deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of workplace software and hardware solutions.
- Collaboration Across Teams : Work with global, regional, and local teams to align operational capabilities with overarching corporate strategies.
- End-User Resource Optimization : Architect and optimize end-user resources (hardware, software, and access), with a focus on auditing, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
- Microsoft Productivity Tools : Oversee the deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of Microsoft productivity tools, including Office 365 services.
- Asset Management & Automation : Drive operational excellence in end-user asset management through automation, rigorous security, and auditing practices.
- Technical Issue Resolution : Rapidly diagnose and resolve technical issues within Microsoft Workplace applications, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting : Monitor performance metrics, provide actionable insights through advanced reporting, and implement optimization initiatives.
- Training Program Development : Develop and execute impactful training programs to empower employees in advanced workplace tool usage.
- Emerging Technologies Evaluation : Evaluate emerging technologies and integrate transformative solutions to enhance organizational productivity.
- Vendor Relationship Management : Strategically manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure the delivery of premium services.
- Documentation & Process Standardization : Standardize and refine documentation of workplace processes at the regional level, contributing to global operational frameworks.
- Workplace Strategy Implementation : Guide countries in implementing workplace strategies, co-developing tailored solutions aligned with organizational standards.
- ITIL Process Leadership : Champion ITIL processes across service management activities and enforce adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs) to maintain service excellence.
You’re a match
- +5 years of experience in workplace engineering , managing complex, multi-regional environments, and delivering impactful solutions.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Power Automate .
- Hands-on experience in endpoint management, with required expertise in Microsoft Intune ; Tanium knowledge is a plus.
- Proficiency in ITSM workflows and ServiceNow , with experience handling incident, problem, and change management .
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for Microsoft workplace applications , with experience in designing efficient deployment and support strategies.
- Solid understanding of Windows OS, patch management, endpoint security, and compliance policies .
- Experience automating workplace processes using PowerShell and Power Automate .
- Proven ability to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and user-friendly end-user solutions .
- Familiarity with ITIL v4 best practices and experience in change management processes .
- Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while collaborating with global teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluency in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
