Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development, localization, and strategic integration of our intrusion alarm and video survei
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis & Demand Collection :
- Conduct detailed research to identify trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs for intrusion alarm and video surveillance products.
- Collect feedback from alarm monitoring centers, distributors, and end-users to identify feature gaps and market opportunities.
- Product Optimization :
- Collaborate with R&D teams to ensure products align with market needs, enhancing functionality, compatibility, and cost competitiveness.
- Advocate for feature improvements and certifications to address regional regulatory requirements and customer preferences.
- Integration with Alarm Centers :
- Work closely with alarm monitoring centers to integrate our intrusion alarm and video surveillance solutions seamlessly into their platforms.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and provide technical support to ensure high adoption rates.
- Business Development & Partnerships :
- Drive partnerships with alarm centers to explore joint marketing initiatives and operational opportunities.
- Develop strategies to support alarm centers offering value-added services like product installation or maintenance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration :
- Act as the primary interface between the regional sales team, alarm centers, and internal R&D departments.
- Ensure alignment of product roadmaps with local market strategies.
- Multilingual Communication :
- Communicate effectively in English and, preferably, one or more regional languages (French, German, Spanish, or Italian).
- Present product features, gather feedback, and address concerns in a language suitable for the local market.
Key Requirements:
- Experience :
- 3+ years’ experience in the security, IoT, or technology industry.
- Proven ability to gather and translate market demands into actionable product improvements.
- Technical Knowledge :
- Familiarity with alarm systems, video surveillance solutions, and alarm monitoring workflows.
- Understanding of API integrations and certification requirements such as EN50131.
- Language Skills :
- Fluency in English (required). Proficiency in additional European languages (French, German, Spanish, Italian) is highly desirable.
- Soft Skills :
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage diverse stakeholders across regions.
- Travel :
- Willing to travel within Western Europe for customer interactions and internal team collaboration.
