Job description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Project Manager to help scale our proprietary and partner-driven projects, ensuring they progress efficiently from discovery to industrialization within a 3-year timeframe (TRL 3/4 → TRL 8/9). This role is pivotal to Aviwell’s future, coordinating cutting-edge R&D, managing cross-functional teams, and bridging the gap between agrotech and pharma as we expand into new frontiers.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Execution
- Oversee program activities, including Gantt charts, task lists, dashboards, and economic units.
- Ensure that all project milestones are achieved on time and with high quality.
- Maintain alignment with regulatory, scientific, and industrial goals.
Stakeholder Management & Reporting
- Report regularly to management and scientific teams on project progress in remote and in F2F.
- Collaborate closely with industrial partners, CROs, and CDMOs, ensuring compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Industrial Practices (GIP).
- Foster strong relationships with academic networks and cross-functional teams.
Regulatory & Scientific Contributions
- Review and contribute to study reports, regulatory dossiers, and intellectual property submissions.
- Monitor and integrate scientific and technical advancements in the field.
- Ensure the transition of agrofood-grade activities to pharmaceutical-grade applications.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- PhD in Biology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Nutrition, Agrifood Development, Avian Biology, or a related field.
Experience:
- 10+ years as a Project Manager in industrial life sciences, ideally in pharmacology, avian biology, agrifood, or biotechnology.
- Fluency in English (French is a plus).
- Knowledge of microbiome and livestock biology is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies
Project & Program Management
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
- Strong dashboard and reporting skills (time, task, and financial tracking). Experience with Monday software is a plus.
- Experience with graphical analysis & presentation tools.
Communication & Leadership
- Strong team collaboration and cross-functional leadership abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication with multidisciplinary teams.
- Comfortable interacting and reporting to CSO, CTO, and senior management.
- Comfortable in traveling to trade shows, scientific meetings, and to visit the different partners.
Industry & Regulatory Knowledge
- Experience working in pharma, agrifood, or biotech sectors.
- Understanding of industrial and regulatory requirements for transitioning innovations to commercialization.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills – ability to collaborate effectively across scientific and business teams.
