We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Senior Project Manager to join our teams working on one of our renowned client's facility based in Paris La Defense, France.
Responsibilities
- Develop, clarify and manage the scope of the project, define contract deliverables and actively involved in Project SoW and complete scope.
- Ensure high standards of project management & best practices are applied in all projects.
- Monitor the project costs/ensure delivery on time and within budgetary guidelines, perform cost/benefit analysis of actions and initiatives.
- Organize and work effectively with technical tracks and agencies participating in this effort.
- Work with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, identify solutions, plan / lead project transitions or migrations.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities such as supporting and guiding and managing the team, problem solving, conflict/issue resolution
- Ability to run a project or serve as project manager in a program and can ensure a successful project lifecycle/ delivery of program.
- Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) effectively with the stakeholders both internal and external.
- Ability to manage and interact with geographically distributed teams and clients.
- Follow and recommend process and procedures, help in creating them where there is a need and drive them for execution.
- Ensure and develop relationship with all the related parties and stakeholders. Make sure the customers are highly satisfied with the quality and time of deliveries.
- Influence the internal teams such as HR, Procurement, Finance, administration etc. to timely deliver the project.
- Identify and manage the risks.
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/ Engineering/MBA or other management qualification
- 10+ years of experience, ITIL and PMP certification is essential
- English and French fluent is a must.
- Experience in Onsite Project completion will be an added advantage
- Proven Track record on MS Project Tools
- Total 8 to 12 years of experience, out of which at least 4-8 years in managing & delivering projects independently.
- 2-3 years of experience in technical stream touching Data Center Technology, Applications
- An experienced IT Project Manager with direct responsibility for managing a given project
- Development, EUC, Tools implementation or Networks/ Security.
- Experience in managing diverse and multiple cross functional teams of size up to 20-30 individuals and have a responsibility that includes:
- Ensures customer satisfaction and manages stakeholders expectations well
- Consistently strive to deliver results and show enthusiasm
- Resource planning and balanced resource utilization across different Projects.
- Should have managed Projects of various scales
- Understanding of Contracts, budget management, and bid management through to development of SOW is highly desirable.
- Must have handled client management, transition, transformation and migration of projects
- Ideally should have been working in a matrixes organization with various functions
- Should have good analytical skills with eyes for detail, assess risks & benefits
- Hands on with MS Project and MS Excel and familiarity with the project management tools- MPP
- Infrastructure domain knowledge – Transition and Transformation projects,/and/or experience in delivery of technology projects like product development, implementation of tools or systems Integration projects
- Maintain, Manage and release Project Plan
- Understanding of the entire engagement lifecycle starting from engagement initiation, transition to steady state
- Experience in creating project dashboards and monitor the milestones
- Experience in creating the weekly status reports and other project related reports
- Prioritize the requirements and delegates the task to team according to technology or tracks
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills – written and oral
- Great communicator & express ideas clearly and concisely
