You will be part of the Market Intelligence department, which mission is to provide knowledge and insights to foster innovation and support the economic development of Luxembourg. The Market Intelligence Analysts are the driving force, collecting and analysing essential information and data on innovation ecosystems and market trends, to support a better collective decision-making process.
Responsibilities
Drive the market intelligence contribution to a cutting-edge EC project connecting the start-up ecosystem in Ukraine with start-up ecosystems in Europe, while providing relevant results for Luxinnovation’s mission to support the start-up ecosystem in Luxembourg.
Assist in gathering data from different sources to map relevant EU ecosystems, EU startup players, relevant funding schemes, legal frameworks, and/or relevant events to lay the ground for better collaboration among startups ecosystems in Europe, as well as with Ukrainian startups.
Collect and structure the relevant information to characterize the needs of national corporates, investors and other key stakeholders to highlight open innovation opportunities for startups.
Collect and analyse the relevant data and information, with an emphasis on the quality and accuracy of information, to highlight current market trends and market opportunities created for deep-tech startups and support the related decision-making process.
Deliver results in a clear and easy-to-understand manner to best support the decision-making process on innovation, either as reports, databases, dashboards, infographics, or decision-support systems.
Provide regular updates and reports to the Market Intelligence Director, Project Manager and relevant stakeholders on the progress and outcomes of the integration project.
Assist the Project Manager in coordinating activities.
Skills and qualifications
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Econometry, Economic intelligence or a related field.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills combined with a sound business acumen.
Strong understanding of competitive analysis, economic and market analyses.
Startup Knowledge: Familiarity with the startup landscape, including an understanding of key startup concepts, business models, and challenges faced by early-stage companies.
Ability to translate data into intelligible and to-the-point graphical representation.
Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (notably Excel); good knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, etc.) will be considered a strong asset.
Fluency in English is mandatory (spoken and written). Additional language skills are a plus.
