ABOUT THE JOB (French version down below)
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production and Construction Project Manager to join our Store Design team. In this role, you will lead the advancement of construction and production techniques, materials, and methods tailored to our retail environments.
You will work together with a team of Architects and Retail Project Managers to ensure that every project is executed with precision, quality, and cost efficiency. Supporting the seamless rollout of stores, wholesale and travel retail openings, according to the brand standards of aesthetics.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture, interior design, or a related field, with technical skills and excellent project management skills.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Project Oversight : Manage and oversee the construction and production phases of retail projects, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Construction Innovation : Research and implement advanced construction techniques and innovative materials to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
- Cost Management : Develop detailed cost breakdowns, optimize budgets, and identify areas for cost savings without compromising quality.
- Vendor Collaboration : Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and production teams to ensure smooth execution of construction and fit-out phases.
- Quality Control : Establish and enforce quality standards for all construction deliverables, ensuring durability and aesthetic alignment with the brand’s vision.
- Sustainability Initiatives : Identify and incorporate sustainaible materials and methods into construction and production processes.
- Documentation : Maintain comprehensive records of construction methodologies, material specifications, and project outcomes for continuous Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and consultants.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN OUR NEXT TEAM MEMBER
- Higher education background in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in construction project management, preferably within the retail or luxury sectors.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction processes, materials, and cost optimization strategies.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, Fusion).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
- Full professional fluency in English, French is a plus.
- A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with sustainability practices in construction is a big plus.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Full-time job based at Byredo´s Head Quarters in Paris.
- This position requires the ability to travel to sites and vendor locations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, if needed to meet project deadlines.

Nous recherchons un Chef de Projets Production & Construction expérimenté et rigoureux pour rejoindre notre équipe Store Design . Dans ce rôle, vous serez responsable du développement des techniques de construction et de production, ainsi que des matériaux et méthodes adaptés à nos environnements Retail.
Vous collaborerez étroitement avec l’équipe d' Architectes et de Retail Project Managers afin de garantir l'exécution de chaque projet avec précision, qualité et maîtrise des coûts. Vous veillerez au déploiement harmonieux des boutiques, des espaces Wholesale et du Travel Retail, tout en respectant les standards esthétiques de la marque.
Le candidat idéal possède une solide expérience en architecture, design d’intérieur ou un domaine connexe , ainsi que des compétences techniques approfondies et une excellente maîtrise de la gestion de projet.
Principales responsabilités
- Gestion de projet : Piloter et superviser les phases de construction et de production des projets Retail, en garantissant le respect des délais, des budgets et des standards de qualité.
- Innovation en construction : Rechercher et mettre en œuvre des techniques de construction avancées et des matériaux innovants pour améliorer l’efficacité et la durabilité des projets.
- Gestion des coûts : Élaborer des forecasts budgétaires détaillées, optimiser les budgets et identifier des opportunités de réduction des coûts sans compromettre la qualité.
- Collaboration avec les prestataires : Coordonner les échanges avec les entrepreneurs, fournisseurs et équipes de production pour assurer une exécution fluide des phases de construction et de fit-out.
- Contrôle qualité : Définir et appliquer des normes de qualité strictes pour garantir la durabilité et la cohérence esthétique des projets en accord avec la vision de la marque.
- Initiatives en durabilité : Intégrer des matériaux et des méthodes de construction durables dans les processus de production.
- Documentation et suivi : Maintenir des dossiers complets sur les méthodologies de construction, les spécifications des matériaux et les résultats des projets, et gérer les relations avec les prestataires externes (vendors, contractants, consultants).
Profil recherché
- Diplôme en Gestion de la Construction, Architecture, Ingénierie ou domaine connexe.
- Expérience avérée en gestion de projets de construction , idéalement dans le secteur du Retail ou du luxe.
- Excellente maîtrise des processus de construction, des matériaux et des stratégies d’optimisation des coûts .
- Compétence en logiciels de gestion de projet et de conception (ex. : AutoCAD, Fusion).
- Excellentes capacités de communication et de négociation pour collaborer efficacement avec les parties prenantes.
- Anglais irréprochable à l'oral et à l'écrit.
- Sens aigu du détail et approche proactive dans la résolution de problèmes.
- Une bonne connaissance des pratiques durables en construction serait un plus.
