Stellantis’s Software Organization (SWX) was created to build the most captivating experiences in the latest frontier of Automotive Technology. The main job responsibilities will be: ● Actively steer the development, launch and production of HPCs, overseeing all steps of the process and working closely with product/design/contract manufacturers. ● Contribute to specification and design of HPCs for automotive systems. ● Supports in investigating scalable architecture alternatives and development paths for HPCs Hardware platforms. ● Leads to establish scalability, cost, size, weight, power, performance, safety, and schedule requirements for next generation hardware platforms. ● Leads the HW implementation of Cyber Security and Functional Safety requirements of HPCs . ● Leads to create Quality Benchmarks and Standards; provides technical perspective and expertise in terms of quality standards for internal technical teams, critical suppliers and partners. ● Identify, develop, and realize HPC circuit designs from concept through production. ● Support technical and complexity analysis for new features and design changes throughout the HPC product lifecycle. ● Leading hardware design decisions to support In-Vehicle Infotainment, ADAS, Propulsion, Secure Gateway, Firmware Over the Air, and other features/domains through the selection of SOC/MPUs, memory devices, serializer/deserializers, A2B/audio, networks (ETH/CAN/LIN), and other EE component peripherals. ● Position does not have direct reports but is expected to coach and guide other team members in technical aspects as well as participation in industry conferences, white papers, etc. Basic Qualifications ● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related degree field ● 5 years of engineering experience ● Electrical Engineer design experience ● Experience in Electrical architecture topologies, software architecture, safety, MCU/MPU/SoCs ● Strong teamwork, and excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to work independently. ● Engineer is capable to analyze schematics, datasheets/user manuals, make effective design decisions for components such as memory, processors, serializers, deserializers, ETH and CAN networks, analyze logs/traces, debug design issues with electronic equipment. ● Familiar with Automotive industry standards for electronics, design factors of safety, and product verification. ● Ability to communicate complex technical concepts for comprehension across internal and external stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications ● Experience with Audio systems including external interfaces, amplifier circuits, and signal processing constraints ● Experience with SOC/MPU and ARM core processors ● Knowledge of applicable safety standards including ISO 26262 ● Knowledge of regulations, industry benchmarks and other constraining requirements ● Familiar with vehicle networks: ETH/CAN FD/LIN/LVDS/A2B communication protocols and troubleshooting tools ● Patent Holder for Electronic Circuits Critical Character Traits to Ensure Success • Ability to think outside-the-box in high pressure situations • Ability to multi-task • Detail oriented problem-solver • Self-confident/empowered to deliver • Self-starter with the ability to work independently given minimal supervision/direction • Ability to identify potential developmental roadblocks and lead effective solutions • Ability to work in a team environment and be both a team player and task leader • Respect and understanding of the Customer/Supplier relationship while embracing partnership • Ability to present concepts/strategies/project status to large groups At Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit and business needs.
