To strengthen our teams and development, we are looking for a Chief Accountant France (F/M).
You are responsible for the accounting for our French subsidiaries and will international working environment.
You manage a teams of 4 people.
KEY MISSIONS
The Chief accountant France will:
~Manage the French subsidiaries (management of the accounting, tax and social part while respecting the different deadlines, ensure the liability of analytic accounting);
~Participate in, check and analyze financial situations quarterly for the French subsidiaries of the group;
~Follow the results and consolidate them, follow up and analyze the budgets of the concerned subsidiaries;
~Prepare the tax documents (VAT, IS, TVS, etc.);
~Take part in the cost optimization along with the directors;
~Prepare tax return;
~Prepare consolidated accounts with the help of the accounting teams;
~Manage the team of accountants: assist them, motivate them and follow them in their tasks and objectives;
~Handle the relations with the CPAs and external auditors, together with the company Finance Department and CFO;
~Ensure that the tax laws and legal rules are well implemented and followed, and monitor the accounting in your scope;
~Ensure that all internal processes are properly followed by the teams in each subsidiary.
REQUIREMENTS
~Educational level required: DCG / DSCG / Bachelor’s degree (Licence) in accounting
~At least 5 years’ professional experience as a Chief Accountant
~Languages: French (fluent) and English (minimum intermediate level) are mandatory to work in an international environment
~Computer skills: SAP / Excel / Word / Kyriba (appreciated)
~Leadership combined with an ability to easily commit people to a plan and objectives
~Ability to create social links, adapt to people
~Excellent communication skills (clear, respectful, readable, efficient)
~Smart appearance required
~Ability to identify and resolve issues within an organization
~Time-management skills, ability to concurrently manage different tasks to ensure that work gets done and that the organization meets its goals
~Ability to bridge cultural differences between different geographical/cultural entities of the company.
