Sports Massage Practitioner required for Winter
2023/24
Come and work in the stunning ski resort of Morzine and Les Gets in the
heart of the 650km of piste with a talented and friendly team of Sports massage therapists. Its the perfect job where you will have plenty of time in the mornings to enjoy skiing the
slopes with your seasonnaire friends.
The job:
You will be responsible for providing mobile Massages to tourist clients (predominantly Brits) whilst they are on a ski holiday.
Your Working hour parameters are:
2.15pm-9pm 4 days per week (possibly increasing to 4 days a week during
the 6 peak weeks)
8.30am-8.30pm 1 day per week (maximum 5.5 hours hands on, once
this is reached you are free to enjoy the rest of the day)
You will have 2 full days and 4 mornings off a week to enjoy the
local ski area of 650km
You are responsible
for:
Getting to the clients accommodation in good time
Taking an accurate consultation
Providing an excellent professional treatment
Taking payment from the client
Recording the client notes electronically
Attending a weekly meeting at Morzine Massage headquarters in
Morzine
You will also need the
following:
Level 4 or higher Sports Massage qualification and professional insurance (strong level 3 candidates considered)
Your own transport
Massage couch, towels, cream, tissue roll
European passport holder or valid carte de sejour
It is desirable but not essential for you to have a:
Pregnancy massage qualification
Hot stone massage qualification
Reflexology qualification
Indian head massage qualification
First aid qualification

Massage:
Excellent pay

sessions for online booking system and inputting clients treatment
notes, orientation of local area, promotional massages at partner
chalets, snow chain usage training
Massage bookings from local residents and
tourists
Guidance on medical conditions
Mentoring throughout the season
Work shirts and jacket,
You will be paid per massage that you complete and you will need your own car and will need to source your own accommodation. We can help you with this.

Requirements
As a Sports Massage therapist working with Morzine Massage you
will need:
Job Skills
5 months experience within Sports Massage
A desire to help others through Sports Massage
Excellent customer care and pride in your own work
Attention to detail when observing client movement and posture
Education
Level 4 British Sports Massage qualification or equivalent
First Aid certificate (Desirable)
Pregnancy massage qualification or Hot Stone Massage (Desirable)
Professional indemnity Insurance with public liability
