The Team: The Guidewire product marketing team consists of a select team of product marketers who love and live Guidewire’s products and offerings. Product Marketers at Guidewire are responsible for launching, positioning, and messaging the Guidewire product portfolio with differentiated messaging and storytelling. They act as spokespeople for their respective domains of expertise through presentations at industry events, written collateral like whitepapers and press articles, and interacting with the broader market, including prospects, customers, analysts, and journalists.
The Job: As a regional product marketer, you are responsible for positioning and messaging Guidewire’s solutions in their respective markets in the EMEA region, with a particular focus on the French insurance market in this role. You have three main responsibilities: Inbound product marketing, Evangelization, and Marketing enablement. You act as a thought leader for prospects, customers, and other stakeholders like analysts and represent Guidewire as a spokesperson publicly. You work closely with the broader product team to inform and influence product roadmap and strategy through market insights and expertise, which you gain through research and interaction with the market, with demand generation and communications to develop integrated go-to-market strategies and plans and with sales providing targeted market-level and account-level messaging and collateral.
What you will need to have:
- Insurance knowledge with a particular focus on the French P&C insurance market gained through working with an insurer, an InsureTech, or ideally both!
- Translate complex product concepts into clear written and visual communication for different audiences and personas
- Ability to demonstrate that you are an excellent storyteller, writer, and presenter
- Strong analytical skills to gather, analyse, synthesize, and disseminate competitive information
- Provide evidence that you can deliver against tight deadlines with excellent results
- Show that you are a team player who learns from their mistakes and adjusts to work well with colleagues in a highly cross-functional environment
- Hunger to learn and to constantly improve
- Language skills: Native French, Fluent English
