We are excited to offer students and alumniinternship opportunities that will allow you to develop your hands-on industry knowledge whilst partnering with our operational or administrative teams. These placements will be as internships and management trainees, starting in Q1 2024 for a minimum of 6 months.

Key accountabilities:
Rooms division internships (front desk, concierge & guest relation):
- Gain operational experience with Peninsula Rooms standards and procedures.
- Provide a “one-stop service” to guests. Ensure personalized check in / out process providing a high touch experience, use of digital tablets, knowledge of PSB & guest registration etc.
- Ensure that guests receive prompt, warm, courteous and personal.
- Attend to all guest enquiries, and requests, delivering an exemplary resolution.
F&B Service internships (l’Oiseau Blanc (2 Michelin-stars), LiLi (Cantonese cuisine) and The Lobby (all-day dining))
- Deliver friendly yet discreet and unobtrusive guest service.
- Perform pre and after-service procedures as per Peninsula standards.
- Understand and accurately deliver the defined sequence of service.
- Ensure consistency of the F&B service and food offerings.
Room Service internship
- Prepare Mise-en-place and deliver friendly yet discreet and unobtrusive guest service.
- Perform pre and after-service procedures as per Peninsula standards.
Housekeeping Supervisor internships
- Gain operational experience with Peninsula Housekeeping standards and procedures.
- Ensure that guests receive prompt, warm, courteous and personal.
- Attend to all guest enquiries, and requests, delivering an exemplary resolution.
Culinary internships
- Perform pre and after service procedures as per Peninsula standards.
- Ensure that all procedures are followed within agreed timescales.
- Organize scheduling of tasks and complete daily opening and closing procedures professionally.
- Understand and follow the standard of sequence of culinary preparation and service.
General Manager office & Projects coordinator
- Respond to the requests from the Hotel Manager, Financial Director, General Manager: Requests can be administrative or operational.
- Ensure the follow-up of requests sent to General Management: order form, meeting request, reception of candidates for an interview, etc.
- Establishment of procedures in both English and French.
- Translation of documents.
- Follow-up of weekly inspections with the Hotel Manager
- Realization of presentation at the request of the General Management
General requirements:
- Good English communication (verbal, written) – Good French communication (verbal, written)
