In order to support Scaleway's ambitious international growth, Scaleway is recruiting a Head of Sales Solution Architect (SA) who will scale the teams of Pre Sales SA, Professional Services Management and Solution Architects. 

We are seeking a Head of Sales Solution Architect to inspire, lead, coach and manage multiple teams. A leader that can be innovative, bold and inspire thanks to a strong emotional intelligence.

Mission

As a Head of Sales Solution Architect, you own the Technical part of the sales cycle, as well as our Solution Architects and Professional Services strategy. On the one hand, we will need you to scale & improve existing SA strategy, and on the other hand we will need you to innovate and recruit numerous new team members.

As a member of the Sales management, you will directly contribute to the growth of our new business revenue and sales cycle, and you will be specifically accountable for new technical offers created and new additional revenue closed. This leader will need to think outside the box and strategically for our clients and collaborate with Product Management, Engineering Management and Sales Management to create the best technical solutions.

Reporting to our Chief Sales Officer, Doreen Pernel, you'll contribute to the team's mission of the growth of our revenue against our revenue forecast. Our winning values around entrepreneurship should resonate to you and empower you to think outside of the box for our Clients and Prospects.

Scaleway counts on you to ramp up quickly by auditing our existing Sales Solution Architect strategy, Professional Services Management, processes & tools.

In addition to being a data-driven leader for your team, you’ll align with other leaders in the Revenue, Marketing, Customer Excellence, Product & Engineering departments to ensure you are working towards the same goal of building a streamlined customer experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience as a consultant or architect in a Cloud environment or equivalent working with customers in a B2B company.

Experience in Cloud development, migrations, container orchestration or applications/servers.

Sound knowledge of various operating systems and databases

Experience in advance areas of Networking, Open protocols, DNS, application load balancing and networking

You have a strategic mindset, able to both build for the future and execute in the present in a constantly evolving environment.

Leader, Coach and Manager hats. Proven ability to coach a team of 5+ members

You are curious & passionate about the future of cloud computing.

Fluency in English and French

Responsibilities

Lead our Technical sales strategy to ensure that we are building a strong foundation for our prospects and clients. And offering solid technical commercial offers.

Take accountability for pipeline conversation (from Evaluation stage) & account expansion. 

Enable your teams to design, modify, and test technical architecture.

Work hand to hand with products and engineering teams with a positive feedback loop.

Enable and share technical knowledge with the Sales Team. 

Scale, recruit & onboard Pre Sales Architect, Professional Services Managers and Sales Architects in order to create an empowered first-class sales team which exceeds targets.

Develop sales excellence rhythm and career path for all your team members

Work closely with our Head of Sales and Head of Customer Success to ensure expansion of our highest potential accounts.

Create sales automation processes with our Sales operations team to equip your teams with high productivity and ROI.

Set & maintain ambitious OKRs that draw a direct line between your work's impact and the company's growth strategy.

Challenge yourself to grow into the role that Scaleway needs tomorrow by pursuing continuous professional development.

This position can be based in our offices in Paris or Lille (France), with possibility to work 3 days/week remotely 

Office days for the Sales Team are Tuesday & Thursday
