Job Description

As part of the Global HRIS team, the People Analytics and Workforce Planning expert will report to the Global HRIS Lead and will act as an individual contributor responsible for the definition and the implementation of the People Analytics strategy in the company and for the coordination of the system activities related to Workforce Planning process.

This position will be responsible to move forward People Analytics capabilities, partnering with different stakeholders in HR function to make analytics a real advantage for data-led decisions.

The People Analytics and Workforce Planning expert will also ensure high standards in terms of data quality and efficiency of operations, updating/delivering new dashboards. He / She will also ensure the organization is well trained and improving in terms of data literacy, acting as a liaison between HR business and group HRIS / IT when it relates to system development or system integrations.

The role will be involved in BI activities transversally related to all HR domains, including operations, performance, development, rewards, and analytics.

This position could be based in either Milan, Madrid, Lyon, or Rotterdam.

Main responsibilities

Data Management:
• Act as a data governor for employee master data, maintaining data integrity.
• Ensure secure access to confidential data
• Perform data audits to identify and address data issues.
• Increase data awareness across the organization.
• Support enablement of data-driven decision-making for the business.
• Ensure new developments or security updates remain compliant with data protection laws.
• Standardizing processes and data aligned with industry best practices, to provide a common, consistent foundation to support data analysis for organizational effectiveness.
• Formalizing and institutionalizing a data governance framework: creating a common set of data definitions and focusing on data quality.

People Analytics:
• Define People Analytics strategy, identifying areas of improvement and actively proposing continuous enhancement cycle
• Manage stakeholders through the report development lifecycle including requirements gathering, updates, and expectation management
• Develop dashboards, customized reports, and scorecards based on business requirements
• Automate imports/refresh whenever is possible
• Collaborate with the rest of the team to gather requirements from the business and translate them into technical solutions.
• Build a compelling story, new product features, and actionable insights using Data
• Support Predictive Modeling, Forecasting, and mentor the HRIS team to improve BI knowledge in the team and put in place best practices.

Project contribution/change management:
• Act as a point of reference between the Global HRIS team and local HR teams to scope, implement, deliver, and maintain global HR systems initiatives in his / her scope.
• Analyze requests/changes received from the region to ensure global processes are well adopted in the region, addressing regional specificities.
• Be an active change ambassador, promoting digital transformation and adoption of digital tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of HR processes in the region.

Experience

• 5+ years prior experience in configuring and administering BI systems (preferably PowerBI)
• An experienced professional in HRIS project implementation
• A solid knowledge of the HR function and HR processes, and you have a high digital dexterity with tools and new technologies.
• Experienced in managing data (also confidential) and performing analysis to produce dashboards and reports, with expert usage of MS Excel.
• Work on multi-country or global scopes and collaborate with geographically dispersed teams.
• Passioned in digitalization and digital transformation, leveraging technology to improve employee experience and overall deliver better services
Finally, self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with strong verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Academics

• A bachelor’s degree in IT areas or HR management.

• Strong working knowledge with DAX and Do’s and Don’ts – incorporate best practices for optimal performances
