Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Contract Project Manager to oversee the development and construction of a new manufacturing site. The ideal candidate will bring 10-15 years of project management experience, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale industrial or manufacturing projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall operations, ensuring the site is built according to specifications, on time, and within budget. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong leadership skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all phases of the manufacturing site construction project from initiation to completion.
  • Manage project timelines, ensuring milestones are met and any delays or obstacles are addressed promptly.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring they are followed closely throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including architects, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies, to ensure seamless execution of the project.
  • Monitor and track project progress, including costs, risks, resources, and deliverables, ensuring adherence to established goals.
  • Control and manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and all expenditures are justified and documented.
  • Ensure quality standards and safety protocols are adhered to throughout the project.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting risks, opportunities, and achievements.
  • Lead and manage the on-site project team, providing direction, support, and guidance as necessary.
  • Resolve any issues that arise during the construction process, implementing effective solutions and minimizing project disruptions.
  • Review and approve contracts, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Maintain clear communication with all involved parties, fostering a collaborative and productive project environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 10-15 years of experience in project management, with a focus on large-scale construction or manufacturing site development.
  • Strong background in managing budgets, timelines, and resources for complex projects.
  • Proven experience in overseeing construction projects in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Exceptional knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Experience with project management software and tools.
  • Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PMI) preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in risk management and problem-solving in complex project scenarios.
