The Opportunity

We're looking for a Compliance and Privacy Program Manager who is agile, eager to learn, and ready to drive major projects that enhance our data protection practices across the organization.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

As our Compliance and Privacy Program Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our organization meets data protection and privacy compliance standards. What matters most is your practical experience in compliance and program management, along with your enthusiasm for learning and implementing effective privacy practices.

You will be part of the Group DPO team, working collaboratively with various departments within Worldline and engaging with a global network of Data Protection Officers.

You will report to the Group Data Protection Officer and Global Head of Data Protection based at headquarters.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead the agile implementation of a new data transfer and privacy framework, ensuring necessary privacy controls are seamlessly integrated into business operations.
  • Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms, create dynamic privacy dashboards, track privacy performance indicators, and compile the annual data protection report.
  • Stay ahead of regulatory changes and participate in awareness initiatives that educate and inspire the organization about data privacy best practices.
  • Monitor and support ongoing privacy audits, helping with both internal and external assessments of compliance.
  • Ensure the effective rollout of company-wide data protection policies that comply with local and international requirements
  • Provide guidance and support on data protection and privacy matters to various teams across the organization.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and knowledge enhancement in the field of data protection and compliance.

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Relevant degree in business, compliance, information technology, or related fields.
  • Certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, or similar are a plus but not mandatory.
  • Significant experience in compliance roles, especially related to data protection and privacy— around 7+ years is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage and deploy complex projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with GDPR and other relevant data protection laws is advantageous, but we value your capacity to learn and adapt.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Experience in multinational environments is beneficial.
  • Fluency in English is key.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a proactive, agile approach to embracing new challenges and regulations are key.
