The Finance department at Deliverect is a team of experts dedicated to empowering Deliverect to financial excellence. We achieve this by optimising financial processes, safeguarding financial health, and efficiently allocating resources to support growth. Your Impact – How will you contribute to our mission
As the ERP Project Manager at Deliverect, your mission is to optimise AP automation processes and seamlessly transition from legacy invoicing tools. In the role collaboration with finance team members to understand needs, ensure smooth system transitions, and optimize workflows are paramount. As an expert project manager, you have experience in vendor evaluation along with training and development of the tools you introduce. A sharp financial acumen is critical for success in your daily tasks.
The role significantly contributes to Deliverect’s overarching goal of achieving financial excellence and efficiency. By streamlining financial operations, you directly support the company’s mission by contributing to Deliverect’s competitive edge.
A Typical Day
– Gather and document requirements from finance teams to enhance workflows and automation in the new ERP system
– Analyse the needs of the accounts payable team and develop optimisation plans and timelines
– Meet with IT manager to ensure smooth integration between new and existing financial systems
– Evaluate potential software vendors for legacy tool transition, comparing costs and features
– Create tailored training programs and modules for finance staff on the new ERP system
– Update CFO regularly on project status, recommendations, and resourcing needs
– Refine project plans and timelines, documenting risks, dependencies and follow-ups
– Develop KPIs and measures for training effectiveness and overall project success
– Collaborate with finance team members to identify issues and continuously improve
– Ensure financial processes adhere to all compliance regulations and standards
– Align initiatives with Deliverect’s broader strategic objectives and financial goals
– Leverage data-driven insights to guide financial decision-making and resource allocation
– Implement cost control measures while maintaining high-quality of work
– Foster collaboration across departments to achieve unified financial objectives
– Facilitate open communication and feedback on financial matters
Your Expertise
– 3+ years leading successful ERP implementation projects, especially NetSuite
– Hands-on accounting/finance experience, with a deep understanding of P2P, OTC, and R2R flows
– Experience in global organisations, enabling effective communication across regions
– Excellent leadership abilities to inspire and unify cross-functional teams
– Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders
– Background in consulting preferred, with a track record of delivering results
– Ability to translate complex requirements into actionable plans
– Aptitude for process optimisation, improvement and workflows
– Change management and training skills to drive adoption
– Strategic thinking skills to align systems with business goals
– Skilled at defining metrics and KPIs to measure progress
– Highly organised and attentive to important details
– Resourceful and innovative problem-solver
– Knowledgeable in data analysis and financial systems
