We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Manager (F/M) to lead the procurement strategy for our utility-scale solar PV, BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) and wind projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of at least two main technologies: solar PV modules and BESS, and a proven track record in negotiating EPC and O&M contracts. Knowledge and experience in wind projects would be a very big plus. This role is critical in ensuring the successful execution of large- scale solar projects by sourcing high-quality equipment, optimizing project costs, and managing key supplier relationships.
The Senior Procurement Manager (F/M) will also be responsible for structuring and managing competitive RFP processes, assessing CAPEX and OPEX during project bids, and developing strategic partnerships with industrial stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Procurement of Solar PV Modules and BESS Components
- Identify, evaluate, and secure suppliers for key equipment, including solar panels, inverters, transformers, and battery systems.
- Negotiate terms, warranties, and lead times with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing, reliability, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure all equipment meets the technical, financial, and sustainability requirements of the projects.
2. Negotiation of EPC and O&M Contracts
- Lead the negotiation of EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contracts, focusing on cost control, performance guarantees, timelines, and liquidated damages.
- Develop and manage long-term O&M (Operations and Maintenance) agreements to ensure plant performance, minimize downtime, and optimize lifecycle costs.
- Ensure that both EPC and O&M contracts align with the strategic objectives and financial models of each project.
3. Management of Competitive RFP Processes
- Lead the development and management of comprehensive RFPs for EPC, O&M contractors, and major equipment suppliers.
- Ensure RFPs are competitive, clearly defining scope, project requirements, evaluation criteria, and performance expectations.
- Analyze bids, evaluate contractor qualifications, and lead the selection process in coordination with cross-functional teams.

The profile we are looking for :
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A master’s degree or certification in procurement (CIPS or equivalent) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or contract negotiation in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on solar PV and BESS projects.
- Contract Management: Proven experience in negotiating EPC and O&M contracts for largescale renewable energy projects.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of solar PV modules, inverters, and BESS components, as well as familiarity with industry standards and performance metrics.
- RFP Management: Experience in structuring and managing competitive RFP processes, with a proven ability to lead multi-million-dollar procurement efforts.
- Financial Acumen: Experience with CAPEX and OPEX assessments, including cost estimation, financial modeling, and budget management.
- Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers, contractors, and partners in the solar energy sector.
