Head of Capital Markets
Colonies
Paris
Colonies operates as an asset-light operator in the residential field, relying on real estate investors to support our development. Colonies has grown a strong network of investors and secured > 2bn€ of RE capital committed.
For 7 years, Colonies has been a pioneer and leader in the European residential real estate sector, implementing various innovative and successful strategies such as:
- New innovative products in the housing market like Coliving (European precursor).
- Aggregation strategy which was a landmark in the European investment landscape (LBO deal for houses 150M€, Ares deal for shared flats 1bn€).
- Brownfield strategy (one of the biggest track records in existing office building retrofitting).
- Portfolio takeover from asset managers (e.g. Cuno deal in Germany).
This effort has been led mostly by founders and we need to create a dedicated focus on new business and investor relations to grow and diversify the investor base in new markets, develop new strategies, and help make Colonies the #1 player for residential capital markets.

- Consolidating and animating a network of investor clients to grow Colonies’ pipeline and capital committed. Enhancing Colonies' notoriety (e.g. events like MIPIM, GRI, Blueprint, roadshows). Building long-term relationships with investors.
- Negotiating and closing partnership deals.
- Exploring the creation of a Colonies’ fund or additional new models.

- A strong network.
- Coordination skills for teams.
- Sales, negotiation, deal-making, and closing experience.
