The Group is experiencing significant growth—both organically and through acquisitions—fuelled by accelerating global electrification
To support this momentum and address supply chain and environmental challenges, we are strengthening our purchasing function.
This role will be instrumental in shaping a robust, efficient, and globally aligned purchasing framework.
Job challenges:
Establish harmonized purchasing management model considering multi-site and international context (culture, legislation, needs, etc…) in accordance with Business Unit/Region policies and the Group strategic guidelines.
Main missions:
- Defines and implements the organization of Purchasing to foster a sustainable and profitable growth of the group and in maintaining an alignment between the two segments.
- Develops resources, purchasing skills and means in a continuous search for improvement of performance.
- Pilots or oversees the purchasing strategy and purchasing action plans related to the Segment, Activity or Region concerned.
- Pilots or coordinates the implementation of these plans on the Sites.
- Ensures that purchasing action plans drive operational excellence and support growth across the Segment, Activity, or Region in compliance with the code of ethics and performance: quality, financial performance and improvement of production capital, delivery (service rate), Sustainable development (reduce use, recycle, reuse materials and energy), Reduction of supply chain risks, Innovation.
You will be direct reporting to Segment VP Industry & Supply Chain (Member of Segment Managment Committee).
You will be managing directly Key Category Managers & Region Purchasing leaders and functionally the plant purchasing managers.
Job qualifications:
- Master's degree or equivalent extensive experience
- 10 years minimum of professional experience required
- Fluent in English and French.
- Negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Good skills in financial analysis
- Flexibility and ability to work in a changing environment
- In-depth knowledge of procurement and contract laws and regulations
- Experience as a team manager.
