ROLE INFORMATION :
As a Young Learner Programme Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing a group of activity leaders. You will have natural talent for active and edutainment activity organisation. You must show strong leadership skills and the flexibility to plan and work in an active and vibrant environment. You will take charge of inspiring co-curricular programme. You will also be expected to provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders, including Group Leaders, Coach Drivers and kitchen staff. As part of a great team, you’ll be supported to grow and encouraged to explore new career directions within the business and the wider group. And, because you’ll be inspiring great things for our customers and the whole business, you’ll do work worth caring about.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure customer satisfaction with the activity and excursion programme.
- Plan and manage of daytime and evening activities.
- Maximise student and Group leader satisfaction by ensuring their experience meets or exceeds their expectations.
- Managing activity leaders’ performance, including delivering appraisals.
- Assist with student, group leader and staff inductions.
- Be present at arrivals and help with welcoming students (individuals & groups) and Group leaders and to assist with student orientation.
- Plan and manage arrival & departure arrangements.
- Ensure any excursions arrangements run smoothly.
- Acting as a source of support, advice, and expertise for colleagues on matters of safety and safeguarding, and ensuring Policies & Procedures are known.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience as an Activity Leader or Manager in a residential role.
- Able and confident to lead and motivate a team.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
- Able to think on your feet, be proactive and work well in a team.
- Able to work in a high-pressure environment and adapt to changes at short notice.
- Approachable, creative, energetic and enthusiastic.
- Demonstrate strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong administration and logistics skills.
- Educated to degree level Desirable.
- Willingness to act as a Local Designated Safeguarding Person (DSP).
- Competent sports / games person with knowledge of the rules and organisation of one or more sports / games.
- Able to speak a second language.
- Current first aid or RLSS lifesaving certificate.
- Recent police check certificate
POSITION SUMMARY:
- Location: EP Paris, 98 Rue Didot, 75014 Paris, France
- Contract Type: Fixed Term
- Summer Camp Dates: 2nd June 2025 to 27th July 2025
WORKING HOURS:
Summer Centre Staff are expected to work up to 44 hours per week, 6 days a week including weekends and with one day off usually during the week.
