As the world leader in alternative animal proteins, Innovafeed contributes to the construction of a sustainable food system by developing a pioneering and innovative industry: the breeding and processing of insects (Hermetia Illucens fly).
Our mission:
– Dealing with global protein deficit by strengthening our food systems
– To have a positive overall environmental impact based on circular economy and inspired by natural food chains;
– To generate territorial economic dynamism : in order to feed and raise our larvaes, we are co-located with agro-industrial partners that provide us with co-products and low footprint energy.
Incorporated in 2016, Innovafeed manufactures and sells 3 different insect-based products:
· Insect protein for a more sustainable and qualitative aquaculture, especially for feeding salmon and trout 🐟
· Insect oil for feeding animals (like pig and poultry), in the context of sustainable farming respectful of animal welfare 🐤
· Insect feces used as an effective organic fertilizer 🌱
In September of 2022, at Innovafeed, we raised US$ 250 million in Series D funding bringing the total cumulative financing to US$ 450 million. This capital will be used to further increase our production capacity in France through the further expansion of our Nesle site in the north of France, the world’s largest vertical insect farm.

Vos missions
En rejoignant l'équipe ingénierie, vous serez au cœur de la construction de notre stratégie infrastructure de nos sites existants et futurs, en :
– Développant des solutions innovantes et durables pour nos sites de production industriels depuis la conception jusqu’à la mise en service de réseaux énergétiques (Vapeur, eaux chaudes, eaux industrielles, …)
– Travaillant en étroite collaboration avec des équipes multidisciplinaires sur différentes zones de production pour répondre à leurs besoins en termes d’utilités tel que l’eau osmosée, l’air comprimé et traitement des effluents
– Définissant et modélisant une stratégie globale des infrastructures de nos sites industriels en maximisant les synergies et les flux entre bâtiments et réseaux
En particulier, vous aurez l’opportunité de contribuer à des missions diversifiées et de développer un panel élargi de compétences :
1. Définir la solution adéquate
– Vous consolidez, quantifiez et challengez les besoins exprimés de façon structurée sur votre scope pour y répondre au mieux en tenant compte des enjeux coûts et délais.
– Vous concevez des réseaux de production ou de génération d’énergie à intégrer dans un site existant ou un nouveau site. Vous proposez une vision globale incluant les coûts et impacts pour comparer la pertinence des solutions et les valider avec les parties prenantes.
– Vous analysez les choix d’infrastructure existants, comparez les choix dans différents secteurs connexes (agro / data center / storage center / …) et proposerez des concepts et modèles applicables sur nos flux.
Vos atouts pour le poste
Etudiant en école d’ingénieur ou équivalent, vous désirez réaliser un stage en modélisation d’infrastructure et/ou de reseaux d’energies . Vous avez un intérêt pour l'innovation et le développement de procédés industriels.
Doté.e d’un bon relationnel, vous appréciez être en contact avec différentes parties prenantes (entreprises prestataires, opérateurs, …).
Vous faites preuve d’une grande rigueur dans le travail et vous savez gérer les situations demandant une forte réactivité. Vous avez une appétence pour les sujets techniques, la coordination et la planification de chantier.
Etant donné le caractère innovant de notre activité, votre créativité, la structuration de la réflexion et la synthèse seront des atouts indispensables pour aboutir aux meilleures solutions.
